Hello! My name is Kaci Lueking. I love teaching first grade and I am looking forward to another great year! This is my sixth year at Germantown Elementary School. I live in Collinsville with my husband, Ryan, who is a Physician Assistant. We have a black lab named Brody and a Jackabee (Jack Russell/Beagle) named Jack. We recently welcomed the love of our life, Joel Leonard Lueking, into the world.
I was raised in Clinton County and graduated from Carlyle High School in 2005. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in the spring of 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Greenville College. I am truly enjoying every moment as I learn new ways to improve our classroom experience! I was recently named a Peabody Leader in Education, an honor that means so much to me.
My family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them. I am an animal lover who enjoys cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and reading in my spare time. I love being a teacher and I realize that you are entrusting me with your most treasured possession. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable learning environment in which your child can reach his or her ultimate potential. I am constantly looking for new and innovative approaches to learning and I want to give your child a learning experience that they will always remember. With your support, your child will grow into a responsible and dedicated lifelong learner! Please always feel free to contact me about anything! My door is always open! I am confident that we will have a great year!
